ALBUM RELEASE: NATTENS FILIGRAN

Today we released our new album Nattens filigran, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Recorded in early 2026, the album features 11 original tracks and arrives today, the 22nd of May 2026. We couldn't be prouder of how it turned out and are thrilled to finally share it with you. The record blends jazz and rock and was recorded and produced by Johnnie McCoy.

About

Totemtanz is a modern jazz quartet drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical styles and sonic combinations, including jazz, rock, and contemporary composition.

Based in Denmark, the quartet weaves together Nordic folk traditions and Copenhagen's rich jazz heritage with the nostalgia of European interwar cabaret. 

Their forthcoming third album, Nattens filigran, is set for release on the 22nd of May 2026. 

The quartet's debut album was released in December 2022, and the track "Abstrakte maskiner 2" earned frequent rotation on Danish national radio. Their second album, In Trödelmarkt der Träume, further expanded Totemtanz's distinctive sonic universe and was released in January 2024.
